Digital painting and image editing

A new take on digital painting software.

The power of professional tools, in a simple, intuitive interface.

Active development — rough edges, missing pieces, and breaking changes between builds are expected.

Start with files you already have

Open PSD, KRA, or flat images — layers, blend modes, and visibility come through.

Move through the canvas naturally

Pan, zoom, and rotate without fighting the tools you're already using.

Save work that stays editable

Layered .floss documents — not just a flattened export.

Brushes

Strokes that feel like your hand

Pressure, speed, and tilt shape every mark. Tune how each brush responds, mix color on the canvas, and build a library of presets you actually reach for.

  • Responsive tablet input with curves you can sculpt
  • Wet mixing, erasers, smudge, and blend modes on every tool
  • Import .abr packs and PNG tips · organize presets your way

Brush tip graph

Enter the Graph

Brush tips are built from nodes. Plug in a shape, add noise or a texture, tweak the mix — the preview shows you exactly what lands on the canvas.

  • Shapes, noise, bristles, and photo samples in one tip
  • Change the wiring, change the stamp
  • Save it as a preset when it feels right

Layers

Build the image piece by piece

Stack, folder, blend, and refine without flattening early. Lock what's done, clip to what's below, and keep reference layers handy while you paint.

  • Folders, blend modes, opacity, and visibility at your fingertips
  • Alpha lock and clipping masks for clean, controlled edits
  • Full undo and redo across the stack

Files

Bring work in. Take it anywhere.

Open Photoshop and Krita files with layers intact. Save back to .floss when you want the full editable document, or flatten to PNG when you need to ship.

  • PSD, KRA, and common image formats on import
  • Layered .floss saves · PSD and flat exports when you're finished
  • Recent files so you drop back in fast

Viewport

Room to work big

Wide canvases, tight zoom — navigation stays out of the way whether you're blocking in a scene or cleaning up a small detail.

  • Pan, zoom, and rotate on large documents
  • Flip and mirror the canvas while you refine
  • Optional rulers when precision matters
